One individual was arrested yesterday at the Metehan checkpoint, following a police raid by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
Following a search conducted by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team, the 42-year-old was detected with a substance believed to be cocaine weighing around 22 grams. The drugs were confiscated by police.
Meanwhile, the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team detected and confiscated cocaine weighing around 1 gram following a search conducted on a 38-year-old believed to have links to the operation.
The individuals in question have been arrested. An investigation into the incident continues.
