The secondary road from Alayköy to Gönyeli has been partially closed as of today, due to junction construction work on the connection between the Nicosia Northern Ring Road and the Nicosia–Güzelyurt Main Road.
In a statement issued by the Highways Department, drivers using the affected route are urged to proceed with caution, reduce speed, and follow all traffic signs and signals to ensure safety for all road users.
The department emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations during the construction period to protect both lives and property.
