An orange warning for rain and locally heavy thunderstorms was issued on Monday by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology.
The orange warning, in effect from 22:00 on Monday night (local time), January 29 until 22:00 on Wednesday night, January 31, warns for rain and locally heavy thunderstorms expected to affect mainly the northern half and eastern areas of the island at times.
