An unusual incident took place early this morning at Akçiçek Hospital in Girne (Kyrenia). A patient, who had arrived at the hospital around 5:00 am, stole a parked ambulance while being discharged.
According to Chief Physician Beyhan Berova, security cameras helped authorities quickly identify the suspect, leading to the swift recovery of the stolen ambulance.
Kyrenia Police Department’s traffic teams located the abandoned vehicle in the Güzelyalı District of Karşıyaka. The suspect, identified as H.H.A. (54), was arrested as part of the ongoing police investigation into the incident.
