PM Üstel “For the past 10 years our party has been experiencing serious difficulties!”


 

Leader of the National Unity Party (UBP), Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced his candidacy for the upcoming party leadership at the ordinary general assembly to be held on September 21.

The UBP Party Assembly convened around 5 pm on Monday at the headquarters in Sarayönü, Lefkoşa (Nicosia). Many UBP members waited in front of the building during the assembly meeting.

Speaking following the meeting, held closed to the press, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that he would be running for the candidacy for the UBP congress to be held on September 21, 2024, to further advance the unity and integrity achieved in the party, to complete the initiated projects, and to continue the economic and financial cooperation agreements signed.
