A police report said that on May 10, 2024, 25-year-old Sıtkı Akargöl and 35-year-old Emre Arslan, who went sailing from the Kumyalı (Koma tou Gialou) fishing port, have actually left the country illegally and 3 people have been arrested following the investigation.
The police statement is as follows;
“Sıtkı AKARGÖL and Emre ARSLAN, who went sailing with a boat on May 10, have left the country illegally. Following an investigation, Y.Y. (M-48), O.T. (M-25) and D.Ö. (M-44), who are believed to have connections in their escape, were arrested. An investigation is ongoing.”
