The 2023-2024 academic year started today at schools under the Primary Education Department of the Ministry of National Education.
Schools of the General Secondary Education Department and the Vocational and Technical Education Department will start classes tomorrow.
Approximately 25 thousand students studying at 126 public and private schools within the Department of Primary Education, and approximately 23 thousand secondary and high school students studying at 48 public and private schools within the General Secondary Education Department are starting the new academic year.
6 thousand teachers work at public and private schools throughout North Cyprus.
