Princess Anne, the younger sister of King Charles, was involved in an incident on Sunday that resulted in minor injuries and a concussion. As a precaution, she was admitted to the hospital, as stated by Buckingham Palace, but she is anticipated to recover fully and quickly.
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace stated, “Her royal highness is recovering well, is in a comfortable condition, and is being kept in hospital as a precautionary measure for further observation.”
The 73-year-old, who is the lone daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, was walking on the grounds of the Gatscombe Park estate when she had a slight head injury, according to a royal source.
The source also mentioned that there were horses nearby, and her medical team concluded that the head injuries were likely caused by a horse’s legs or head.
According to a statement from Buckingham Palace, “The king has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”
