DAÜ-SEN has expressed concerns over allegations that some of EMU’s lands might be transferred to public land for the construction of casino hotels.
A Greek Cypriot, the real owner of the foundation-owned coastal lands used by EMU, had requested a land swap from the Immovable Property Commission. It was stated that UBP – YDP – DP parties will transfer lands for public use of casino hotels.
Making a statement on the issue, DAÜ-SEN requested for relevant parties to make a statement immediately, while KTÖS said, “The association of land allocated for education with gambling tourism is another moral issue.”
