Pumping station maintenance to cause water outage across country!

The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources announced that there will be a water outage across the country.

The announcement by the Ministry is as follows:

“There will be a water outage starting from 8 a.m. today due to the malfunction at the Geçitköy pumping station within the scope of the water supply project from Türkiye. During the maintenance work, water will be cut throughout the entire island. Water will be supplied from our local drinking water resources until the malfunction is fixed. It is crucial that citizens use water consciously and economically. Updates will provided and published to our people and municipalities.”
