The restoration project for the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) has been completed and will soon be put out to tender for implementation, according to a statement from the Republic of Türkiye General Directorate of Foundations regarding its activities in North Cyprus.
The statement highlighted that one international agreement and four cooperation protocols were signed between 2010 and 2017 to support restoration efforts.
Additionally, it noted that the restoration of Dükkanlarönü Mosque in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) was completed in 2024. The restoration of the Selimiye Mosque in Lefkoşa is nearing completion.
