The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) announced that road infrastructure development works are taking place for the Presidential and Parliament premises. The announcement said that the road between the Metehan (Agios Dometios) roundabout and the Metehan (Agios Dometios) Border will be closed as of tomorrow.
According to a written statement by LTB, the only way to the border and back will be from the opposite lane which is usually used coming back from the border. The road will be used as a one-lane road.
Drivers using this route have been advised to be cautious and follow traffic signs for diversions. The road work is expected to be completed by August 28.
