The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) announced that Şht. Ecvet Yusuf Avenue (the Yenişehir traffic lights area) will be closed to traffic on Sunday, May 26, due to an ongoing electrical excavation work being carried out by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK).
It has been reported that vehicles will not be able to enter the mentioned route through both ways on Atatürk Avenue.
Drivers have been advised to drive slowly and be cautious for safety reasons and follow traffic signs accordingly.
