Russians 1st on list travelling to North Cyprus by air, and Brits by land!

The number of passengers entering North Cyprus by air and ports last year was 1 million 854 thousand.
According to the Diyalog newspaper, 1 million 522 thousand of these passengers were Turkish nationals and 331 thousand were foreign nationals.
Among the foreign nationals, Russians are top of the list with 49 thousand, and Iranian citizens are second with 40 thousand 848.
Apart from Turkish citizens, 5 million 211 thousand people had entered the country via land crossings.
According to statistics; The number of Greek Cypriot nationals is 3 million 53 thousand, and 2 million 158 thousand, is foreign nationals.
The British citizens have taken the first place with 272 thousand among the foreigners.
