It has been reported that a short period of torrential rain was effective in many parts of the country today (Monday, May 23).
Pictures were taken by a TAK photojournalist of citizens having hard times during the unexpected rainfall that took place in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) today at noon.
Some of the citizens who took shelter at a bus stop and shop awnings had to share single umbrellas.
The Meteorology Department announced that the rainy weather will continue until Thursday, and dropped temperatures will rise by 4 degrees over the weekend.
