Suspect admits buying drugs from individual of African origin


 

The Prevention and Narcotics Smuggling Prevention Team seized approximately 10 grams of drugs believed to be synthetic cannabinoid.

Police officer Fezile Kesat conveyed the facts in court.

Following a police raid conducted by the Prevention and Narcotics Smuggling Prevention Team in Haspolat (Mia Milia) on June 12, 10 grams of drugs believed to be synthetic cannabinoid and 2 rolled cigarettes with burnt ends believed to contain synthetic cannabinoid type drugs mixed with tobacco were detected and taken as evidence.
Police noted that the suspect has been arrested and an investigation has been launched.

According to the police, the suspect admitted buying the drugs from an individual of African origin, he didn’t know, in 14 grams for 8,000 TL. Stating that an investigation continues, the police requested an additional day of detention for the suspect.

Judge Zehra Yalkut Bilgeç, initially ordered the suspect to be detained for one day.
