Suspect pointed gun at police during raid!


 

Three people were arrested yesterday in Doğanköy (Thermeia) following a police raid under the name ‘Tetik’ operation by the Prevention of Narcotics and Smuggling team.
According to a police report, a 67-year-old man pointed an empty gun at the officers and pulled the trigger when police tried to overpower the suspect.
The individual was then overpowered by the officers it has been reported. The suspect’s gun, clip, and 9 bullets were taken as evidence.
A heroin-type drug weighing approximately 1 gram, a cocaine-type drug weighing approximately 6 grams, a total of 506 grams of cannabis (skunk), two scales believed to contain drug deposits, a grinder believed to contain drug deposits, 20 bullets, and 25,285 TL, 250 Dollars, 360 Pounds, and 325 Euro cash, believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs, were detected and taken as evidence.
Two individuals aged 41 believed to have connections have also been taken in for questioning.
An investigation is ongoing.
