A shocking incident took place yesterday as a mother and son who were arrested in an operation carried out at the Kyrenia Port admitted smuggling drugs into the country before.
Müjde Taşeroğul and her son Batuhan Ulugünal, who were caught trying to smuggle 1 kilogram of methamphetamine and 3 pistols into the country through the Kyrenia Port, appeared in Girne (Kyrenia) district court.
The suspects admitted smuggling 25 kilograms of drugs into the country in a disabled wheelchair in November used by Batuhan Ulugünal.
