Turkish Cypriot athlete Buse Savaşkan, who competed on behalf of Türkiye in the women’s high jump final of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, was received by Turkish Cypriot Ledaer Ersin Tatar on Wednesday.
Speaking during the visit, Tatar stated that Buse made the Turkish Cypriot people proud at the Olympics.
He said that the success achieved by Savaşkan is a source of inspiration for young people.
He also drew attention to the pride the Turkish Cypriot felt when Savaşkan was competing.
