Temperatures to reach high 30s midweek along with dust


 

High concentrations of dust in the atmosphere are expected over the next few days amid rising temperatures, the met office said on Monday.

The mercury will reach the high 30s by Wednesday before slightly dropping towards the weekend.

Temperatures are 4-5 degrees above the seasonal average.

Cyprus is set to brace soaring temperatures over the next few days in what has become an exceptionally warm spring.

Temperatures will rise to around 29C inland on Monday and around 25C along the coast.

On Monday night temperatures will fall to 16C inland and along the coast.

Tuesday looks to be slightly warmer before temperatures are set to rise again to significantly above the seasonal average on Wednesday and Thursday, possibly reaching 38C, the met office said.
