The 17th Carob Festival will kick start on Friday, September 6th in Tatlısu (Akanthou). The festival, organized by the Tatlısu Municipality, which will continue for 3 days, will begin with a procession at 7 PM on Friday and inauguration speeches at 7.45 PM.
International folk dance teams from 7 countries will also be performing during the event. Concerts and various shows will be hosted.
The 17th Carob Festival, which will include beach wrestling, backgammon tournaments, and activities for children, as well as free caricatures and portraits, will end on Sunday, September 8.
