The Meteorology Department’s December 9, forecast shows that a low pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 2 to 4 degrees above seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the north and east at moderate strength.
The weather will generally be partly and very cloudy, and temperatures in the interior may vary between 17 and 22 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 21 degrees.
