The Meteorology Department’s February 17, forecast shows that a low pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the east and west at moderate strength.
The weather will generally be partly cloudy and rainy, strong rain at times and temperatures in the interior may vary between 14 and 18 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 18 degrees.
