The Meteorology Department’s February 8, forecast shows that a low pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 2 to 4 degrees above seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the north and west at moderate strength, strong at times.
The weather will generally be partly and less cloudy, and temperatures in the interior may vary between 9 and 15 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 13 degrees.
