The Meteorological Department’s forecast dated January 11 shows that the low pressure system will combine with the cold and relatively humid air mass and affect the region.
While the air temperatures are expected to be 3 to 5 degrees above the seasonal norms, the wind is expected to blow from the north and east directions, light and occasionally moderate.
The weather will be generally partly cloudy, with light rain in places, and less cloudy over time.
While the temperature in the inner parts can vary between 16 and 21 degrees, temperatures will hover around 20 degrees, especially in Nicosia.
