According to the Meteorology Department’s January 19 weather forecast, a high pressure system will combine with a cool and humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 2 to 4 degrees above seasonal norms and winds are expected to blow from the north and west at moderate strength.
The weather will generally be partly cloudy and temperatures in the interior may vary between 15 and 20 degrees, while temperatures in Nicosia in particular may hover around 19 degrees.
