According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast for June 16, a low pressure system will combine with a warm and relatively humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be seasonal norms, while winds are expected to blow from the south and west at moderate strength.
The weather will be partly cloudy, rainy and heavy rain at times.
Temperatures in the interior will range between 29 and 35 degrees, especially in Lefkoşa, temperatures will hover around 35 degrees.
