According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast for June 17, a low pressure system will combine with a warm and relatively humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be seasonal norms, while winds are expected to blow from the north and west at moderate strength.
The weather will be partly cloudy.
Temperatures in the interior will range between 29 and 36 degrees, especially in Lefkoşa, temperatures will hover around 36 degrees.
