According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast for May 10, a high pressure system will combine with a warm and relatively humid air mass to affect the region.
Air temperatures are expected to be 3 and 5 degrees above seasonal norms, while winds are expected to blow from the south and west at moderate strength.
The weather will be partly and very cloudy.
Temperatures in the interior will range between 27 and 36 degrees, especially in Nicosia, temperatures will hover around 36 degrees.
