Chamber of Commerce and Industry officials warned the government about salary regulation put forward by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for foreign employees. They said the salary regulation should be enforced on all foreigners.
Speaking to KIBRIS news, Chamber of Commerce President Turgay Deniz stated that a similar law exists in South Cyprus and pointed out that such a practice should be valid for all foreign employees.
“If it is applied only to third country citizens, there will be problems at workplaces” Deniz said.
