The ‘We are running for justice’ marathon takes place tomorrow

The marathon, under the theme ‘We Are Running for Justice’, to be held in memory of the Champion Angels, will take place in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) tomorrow.

A festival-looking event will also be held in front of ‘Cortado Espressolab’ on the Salamis Road at 4 pm. Those participating in the Marathon run will begin the 42-kilometer run at 7 in the morning.

The runs will be organized into five categories: 42, 10, 6, 3 and 1 kilometres.

The 3-kilometer run named the ‘Champion Angels’ has been dubbed the most special run of the marathon. There will be no ratings in this run and the public is invited to join this category.

Meanwhile, a total prize of 500 thousand TL will be distributed to the winners of the marathon, which has been officially approved by the World Athletics Organization. Applications for the marathon can be made at famagustamarathon.com.
