Three arrested for illegally selling South Cyprus scratchcards and lottery tickets on North side!


 

Three people have been arrested for illegally selling scratchcard and lottery tickets belonging to the Greek Cypriot Administration in North Cyprus.

A police statement said that A.P. (M-35) was detected illegally selling scratchcards and lottery tickets in Demirhan (Trachoni) and M.Y. (M-49) in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) yesterday, which they brought over from South Cyprus.

Both individuals and S.K. (M-35) who is also believed to have connections with the incident were arrested for breaking the lottery and gambling law.
