Tires dumped in Koruçam forest area sparking fears of forest fire!


 

Dozens of tires dumped into a forest area full of olive and pine trees in the Koruçam (Kormakitis) village are causing fear of forest fires.

According to Gıynık news, village locals request that the tires be removed from the area at the earliest, and that the critical points are cleared to lower risk of fire.

The smoke caused by the burning garbage is affecting human health living in the surrounding villages.

Many are also being exposed to bad smell after animal carcasses and such wastes are being dumped into the wild.

Meanwhile, the garbage scandal at Kumköy Water Facilities are also a disgrace. The garbage and rubble next to the facilities that was going to be used for the water project from Türkiye many years ago, are mounting up each day.
