Today is last day of Eid al-Adha


 

Today is the last day of the four-day Eid al-Adha holiday.

On the last day of the holiday, citizens continue to visit their families and relatives.

The General Directorate will be at service 24/7 during the holiday.

Patrols continue as police warn citizens not to speed and drink drive.

“Your priority while navigating the roads should not be speeding, but to arrive at your destination safely and ensure the safety and well-being of your loved ones” the police statement said.

According to the statement, the ‘155 Police’, ‘199 Fire Service’, ‘156 Narcotics’, and other services will be at service during the holiday.

Municipalities, have also taken precautions to ensure that services continue uninterruptedly during Eid al-Adha.

Thousands of passengers and 878 flights excluding private flights, will be arriving and departing from the country through Ercan Airport in the 10-day period during and after Bayram.
