Trade between the two sides in Cyprus grows under Green Line Regulation


 

Over the past three years, trade from Northern Cyprus to South has steadily increased under the Green Line Regulation, averaging sales of 1 million euros per month.

In the last year alone, goods worth 15 million euros were sold from the North to the South. Prefabricated containers emerged as the top-selling item, accounting for 22% of total exports, with sales reaching 3 million euros.

Wooden furniture followed closely, generating 2.3 million euros in sales, while construction materials came third with 2.2 million euros. Additionally, fish exports totalled nearly 807,000 euros, reflecting growing demand across the border.
