Traffic adjustments affect central Paphos


 

The Municipality of Paphos announces that starting tomorrow, Wednesday, construction work will begin on the Historical Documentation Centre of Paphos and the landscaping of the surrounding area. This project includes the maintenance and restoration of the former Central Police Station building.
A section of the uphill lane of Georgiou Griva – Digeni Avenue will be affected, from the traffic lights at Kennedy Square to its junction with Grigori Afxentiou Street. These works will last for three months, until mid-September.
Traffic adjustments are as follows:
• Vehicles moving from Gladstonos Street to Georgiou Griva – Digeni Avenue will be redirected via Evagoras Pallikarides Street, Charalambos Mouskos Street, and Grigori Afxentiou Street.
• Vehicles moving from Evagoras Pallikarides Street to Georgiou Griva – Digeni Avenue will be redirected via Ioannis Agrotis Street and then via 25is Martiou Street.
• Vehicles moving from Grigori Afxentiou Street will be allowed to turn right onto Georgiou Griva Digeni Avenue as usual.
The Municipality of Paphos requests the understanding of those affected for any inconvenience caused.
