The Cyprus Turkish Cycling Federation has announced that a cycling race will take place on the Güzelyurt – Lefke (Morphou – Lefka) road this coming Sunday.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, the section of the Güzelyurt – Lefke road between the Güzelyurt (Morphou) traffic lights intersection and Doğancı (Elia) roundabout will be closed to two-way traffic from 07:30 to 11:30. Vehicles travelling from Güzelyurt – Lefke directions will be redirected via the old Güzelyurt – Lefke main road.
Motorists using the route are advised to slow down and exercise caution while the race is ongoing, and to adhere strictly to traffic signs and instructions to ensure safety.
