The police have announced that several roads will be closed to traffic this Saturday and Sunday due to scheduled racing events.
Saturday, September 28, 2024:
The 3rd Climbing Championship race, organized by the North Cyprus Automobile Touring Association (KKTOK), will take place on the St.Hilarion Road from 1 PM to 4:30 PM. During this time, the route between Boğaz and the St. Hilarion Castle junction will be closed to vehicles. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes and to exercise caution.
Sunday, September 29, 2024:
A motorcycle drag race, hosted by the Turkish Cypriot Motorcycle Association, will take place from 8 AM to 8 PM along the İskele (Trikomo) – Karpaz (Karpasia) Main Road, specifically between the Çayırova (Agios Theodoros) Circle and the Senmar Supermarket Circle. This section will also be closed to traffic in both directions, with detours available via Çayırova village roads.
Motorists are advised to drive slowly and to obey all traffic signs and signals for their safety.
