Trial of journalist Ali Kişmir postponed to November 27


 

The Constitutional Court trial of journalist, author, and Press Workers’ Union (Basın-Sen) President Ali Kişmir has been postponed until November 27.

Kişmir, who is being tried over an article he published on social media, is represented by his lawyer, Hasan Esendağlı, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association.

At the latest hearing, both parties were heard, and the court scheduled the next session for Thursday, November 27, when a verdict is expected.
