Troodos National Forest Park nature trails temporarily closed


 

The nature trails of Troodos National Forest Park are closed from today until further notice due to severe erosion, landslides, snowfall, and frost in the area. These hazardous conditions pose significant safety risks, including the potential for disorientation.

According to a statement from the Department of Forests, the affected trails include:

• Circular Trails: Livadi (wheelchair accessible), Artemis, Atalanti, Psilo Dentro – Pouziaris, Kampos Livadi, and Teisia tis Madari.

• Linear Trails: Persephone, Caledonia, Kato Amiantos – Loumata ton Aetos, Piskopon Graves, Kannoures – Agios Nikolaos Stegi (Kakopetria), Prodromos Dam – Stavroulia, and Prodromos – Zoumi.

• E4 Path (Troodos Area) and Madari – Doxa si o theos
