Turkish jets were seen flying over Cyprus international airspace carrying out training exercises.
An unexpected event took place yesterday, after news was published by Sözcü newspaper in Türkiye, saying that Greece is carrying out an armament campaign in the Aegean and will be receiving a warplane from France every month.
A statement by the Turkish Ministry of Defense, said that the jets belonging to the Turkish Air Forces were carrying out training exercises in South Cyprus.
Ahead of the 50th-anniversary events of the 20 July Operation, Turkish warplanes’ carrying out exercises in international airspace over South Cyprus, has led to concern among the public.
The Turkish Ministry of National Defense on social media stated that training exercises were being carried out in international airspace of the Mediterranean of South Cyprus from a variety of bases.
