Two injured in road collision in Ayia Napa


 

Two individuals were injured in a road collision that occurred late last night in Ayia Napa.
The incident took place at around 11:45 PM when a four-wheeled motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old man, with a 20-year-old passenger, deviated from its course under circumstances that are still being investigated. The vehicle first hit a curb, then a tree, causing it to overturn and come to a stop in the middle of the road.
Both occupants were injured and were initially taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta. Due to the seriousness of their conditions, they were subsequently transferred to the General Hospital of Nicosia.
According to the treating doctors, the condition of both individuals is considered critical.
The Ayia Napa Police Station continues to investigate the incident.
