Two-year-old seriously injured in Limassol road accident


 

A two-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Limassol yesterday. The incident occurred when a 39-year-old man, driving along Makariou Avenue 3, struck the child after she stepped off the sidewalk and into the street.

The girl was quickly taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a subarachnoid hemorrhage. After being intubated, she was transferred to Makarios Hospital for further treatment.

Her condition is currently described as serious. The Limassol Traffic Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
