The Meteorology Department announced that there will be no rain this week and that temperatures are expected to rise by 4 degrees.
According to the weather report covering June 20-26, the region is expected to be under the influence of a low-pressure system with warm and humid temperatures for the next few days, and hot air mass for the rest of the days.
Accordingly, the weather is forecast to be mostly clear and partly cloudy during the week. Temperatures will be around 32-35 ºC inland for the first days of the period and 36-39 ºC inland and 28-32 ºC on the coast.
Winds will be southerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger on the first days of the period, and northerly and westerly moderate on the rest of the days.
