Warning from Police Headquarters: Those who do not have a valid road tax will be banned from traffic!


 

The North Cyprus Police General Directorate announced that traffic inspections will begin today across the country. It has been reported that legal action will be taken against drivers who do not have a valid road tax and vehicles will be seized by police.

The police statement is as follows:

“Legal action will be taken against drivers who have been detected with no valid road tax and vehicles will be seized by police as of April 12, 2023, on the authority given to the Police by the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulation (A.E. 99/1974).”
