Warning to those dumping construction and debris waste!


 

Çatalköy Esentepe Municipality announced that legal action will be taken against individuals who dump construction waste or debris into the environment.
The statement by the Municipality said that environmental cleaning is a social responsibility and as of today, legal action will be taken if construction waste or debris continues to be dumped on the Çatalköy (Agios Epiktitos) – Değirmenlik (Kythrea) road.
The statement also said that garbage waste, construction, or debris waste were still being dumped into the area despite warnings by the municipality. The Çatalköy (Agios Epiktitos) – Esentepe (Agios Nikolaos) municipality announced that cleaning services have begun to remove piles of debris that were dumped at different points in the area. They have spent long hours cleaning and have completed the cleaning efforts of most waste. The municipality said that all necessary precautions have been taken, and warned that criminal sanctions will be applied if such incidents are repeated.
