According to the Meteorology Department, today’s weather will be under the influence of a cold and humid air mass and a low-pressure system. Temperatures are expected to be around 2-3 degrees below seasonal norms, and winds will be northerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger at times. Skies today are expected to be slightly to partly cloudy. Temperatures will generally be around 13-18 ºC inland and on the coast. The temperature in the capital Lefkoşa will be around 17 ºC.
The Met Office announced that stormy winds are expected until midnight tonight and urged the public to be cautious.
