The Met Office announced that temperatures will rise to 41/44 degrees over the weekend.
According to the Meteorology Department, under the influence of a low-pressure system, it is expected to be very hot from July 15-21st. Clear skies are forecast for the whole week.
Temperatures will be around 41/44 ºC inland and 36/39 ºC on the coast.
Winds are expected to be southerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger at times.
