Minister of Internal Affairs Dursun Oğuz, said that during the last 3 months, a total of 1462 people were denied entry into the country, despite having transit visas.
Oğuz stressed that within the last 5 months, 827 people were deported.
Making a statement on Güneş TV, Oğuz said that transit visas only apply to 46 countries in North Cyprus.
