Prime Minister Ünal Üstel announced that new legal regulations will be made regarding the sales of properties to foreigners. He added that a zoning plan covering the whole country will also be prepared.
During his speech at Parliament yesterday, Üstel said that tasking duties were carried out at the Land Registry Office and that legislative efforts were initiated to ensure the accuracy of the data.
Since there is uncertainty about the number of contracts that are not officially registered, Üstel said that a legal regulation will be made on the issue. He added that they will be forwarded to the Parliament following the input of the opposition.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that a team of 25 people was formed to work on the zoning plan and that the plan would cover the whole country.
